MegaStat is an Excel add-in that performs statistical analyses within an Excel workbook. Although MegaStat performs many different statistical options the various dialog boxes all work the same way and have standard Excel objects (input boxes, buttons, checkboxes, etc.).
Installation We recommend that you use Firefox or Chrome for ease of installation. Mac users – please ask the lecturer for the information about the alternative software. If you wish to use Internet Explorer or Edge, please see Using Internet Explorer or Edge to download MegaStat Add-in file.

So I downloaded an add-on for excel from mcgraw hill's website and excel keeps crashing whenever I try dotplots or histograms etc; in either descriptive statistics or frequency distributions. It is for my stats class, which I should be using spss anyways but the professor uses megastat for its simplicity. It is simple but extremely buggy. I get by with using the library cpus(pc) but anyone figure out a solution or anything?
